I have taught at elementary, and middle school levels and am certified to teach high school as well. I earned my B.S. in English from Appalachian State University in 1994 and went on to complete my Master's degree in Library Science (K-12) in 1997. I am also certified to teach students in the elementary classroom K-6, middle grades language arts 6-9, and Academically Gifted K-12. I enjoy seeing the students "light up" when they find an answer to a question they have been searching for!
